PureNanoTech Serves as Platinum Sponsor of Nanobubble 2026 at NJIT, Advancing Global Collaboration in Ultrafine Bubble Science

Newark, New Jersey – PureNanoTech (PNT), the leader of next-generation patented nanobubble technology, served as a Platinum Sponsor of the 2026 International Conference on Nanobubbles, Nanodroplets, and Their Applications (Nanobubble 2026), held August 19–21 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, New Jersey. The conference brought together researchers, industry practitioners, educators, and standards professionals from around the world for three days of technical exchange on nanobubble and nanodroplet science.

Chaired by Professor Wen Zhang of NJIT, Nanobubble 2026 continued a series of international meetings previously convened in Kyoto, Magdeburg, Suzhou, Coffs Harbour, Shanghai, and Les Houches. Technical sessions spanned the fundamentals of nanobubble formation and stability, measurement and characterization methods, environmental applications, agricultural and food systems, biomedical and life sciences, and industrial and energy processes.

Nanobubble 2026 was held August 19–21 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey, with PureNanoTech serving as a Platinum Sponsor.

The PureNanoTech team presented on two fronts: the colloidal behavior of nanobubbles and its application to plant growth, and the translation of nanobubble systems into practical industrial use — reflecting the two ends of the work the company has pursued since its founding: understanding how nanobubbles behave in water, and building equipment that performs reliably outside a laboratory.

A recurring theme across the program was measurement. Characterization methods received dedicated sessions on both days, and leading instrument manufacturers participated as sponsors and presenters. The emphasis reflects a broader maturing of the field, in which nanobubble performance is increasingly reported alongside the water conditions and operating parameters under which it was measured. PureNanoTech, the only U.S. nanobubble manufacturer represented on the ISO/TC 281 technical committee for fine bubble technology, regards this shift toward rigorous and transparent measurement as essential to the credibility and long-term growth of the industry.

The distance between laboratory research and field deployment remains where many of the open questions in nanobubble technology reside. Nanobubble 2026 placed fundamental and stability research alongside field trials in orchards, wastewater treatment plants, and aquaponic systems, giving participants from both communities a shared forum. PureNanoTech extends its thanks to Professor Wen Zhang and the NJIT organizing team for convening the event.
